The poetry of good music does not have a "sell by" date. It exists outside of time. From a spectacular standpoint some music never happens, is not consumed or imposed, always seems like "now."

And then there is Aphex Twin! Calm down, I kid.

While this program happened on REVEILLON, it is not a "holiday" broadcast. When holidays are every day, as they are for me, they are not. Perpetual adventure: it can be yours too, if you dare to "ride the snake."

Greetings, friends and lovers of Bombast. Captain Halcyon here, dropping in uninvited (by you) as is my wont. Back in December I sneaked into the WRFI cockpit to do this show. I figured on sharing it with you while it was still cold, and sure enough, it is.

A friend of Kid Catharsis, Jim Murphy, dropped by sometime during this broadcast--I think it was during "White Dusk"--and remarked, "this doesn't sound like dance music." Oh Jim! There are many ways to dance.

Anyway--apologies if you were expecting something from Kid Catharsis. He's taking a mental health day--I recommend these!--so I thought I would "fill the void."
